Young Green Jackfruit

Native to Asia, young green (unripe) jackfruit makes for an excellent meat substitute. Easy to shred and neutral in flavor, try it with barbecue sauce for a plant-based "pulled pork," mixed with mayo for a mock tuna salad, or marinade it with your favorite sauce and use in place of shredded chicken.
