Garfish in Olive Oil


Garfish (also known as needlefish) are small fish similar in size to a sardine, with a rich, meaty flavor similar to mackerel. Sporting stunning stripes that run down their backs, these slim fish are perfect for serving in the tin at a cocktail party for an elegant presentation.

These garfish are caught in the Cantabrian Sea off the north coast of Spain in the Fall and Winter.
