Celebrate Earth Day by learning the art of vegetable fermentation while tackling food waste! Led by Meaghan Carpenter, Co-Founder and Head Food Alchemist at HEX Ferments, this hands-on workshop will teach you the history, health benefits, and techniques behind traditional fermentation.

Together, we’ll create a seasonally inspired ferment using fresh ingredients—plus, you’ll bring produce or pantry items from home that might otherwise go to waste, transforming them into something delicious and probiotic-rich.

You'll leave with a 32oz jar of your own custom ferment, a recipe to continue fermenting at home, and an understanding of how fermentation can reduce food waste and enhance nutrition. All additional materials are provided, and participants receive an exclusive discount on DIY fermentation kits, ingredients, and books at HEX Superette.
