Bursting with natural sparkle and a playful red-berry glow, this 2024 pet-nat from Meinklang captures the spirit of Burgenland’s biodynamic vineyards. Hand-harvested on the estate where grazing sheep and cattle help nurture the land, the grapes (a vibrant blend of Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Saint Laurent) undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, then are bottled under crown-seal without filtration or fining. The result is an unfined, unfettered expression of terroir and tradition.

A lively swirl of strawberry, red currant and rose petal greets the nose, while the palate delights in crisp red fruit, a kiss of gentle tannin and effervescent lift that keeps things fresh and bright. Minimal sulfur and minimal intervention let the vintage speak clearly—pure, charming, and full of life.
