We'll start with a brief dive into the magic of lacto‑fermentation, history of sauerkraut in Maryland, then get your hands busy mixing cabbage, salt, and spices to craft your own custom kraut. All ingredients are pre‑prepped, and you’ll go home with one 32‑oz jar, perfectly positioned to ferment in time for Thanksgiving — plus a recipe to transform it into a cooked kraut side that’ll steal the show.
