Chia Seeds

This superfood is easy to digest, easy to use, and rich in slow-digesting fiber and heart healthy compounds. Believed to have originated in Central America, "chia" is Mayan for "strength".  In fact, ancient civilizations thought chia imbued one with natural superpowers!

These small, flat, oval-shaped seeds come from a flowering plant in the mint family. With deep root systems that help improve soil health, chia breaks up compacted soil and allows water and nutrients to flow through the earth.
