Eco-printing Workshop with Monique Crabb
In this eco-printing workshop you will learn two processes for extracting color from flowers, bugs, wood, and food (including remnants from HEX Ferments!). You will leave the workshop with an eco-printed silk scarf and a cotton tea towel.
The two eco-printing techniques are Bundle Dyeing, which uses steam to extract color from plants onto fabric and Hapa Zome, which is the Japanese art of beating pigment out of leaves and flowers with a hammer. You are also allowed to bring one small *natural fiber item to alter with plant colors. *Natural items are 100% cotton or silk or blends of cotton, linen, hemp, silk, etc.
We have a couple of spots available for people who are having challenges covering the cost, please reach out to Monique directly at email@example.com
