Kitchen Takeover: Carlos Raba of Nana
Chef Carlos Raba, chef-owner of Nana (just up the street on York Road!) is coming to HEX Superette for a collaborative full day Kitchen Takeover! Chef Carlos grew up in Sinaloa state in Mexico and his mother and her four sisters raised him around the love of food. He made tortillas by hand in his uncle's restaurant and picked up classic North Mexican recipes like cochinita pibil and lengua from his aunts and grandmother. We are excited to see how Chef Carlos combines HEX offerings into his menu!
Kitchen Takeovers are our way for chefs to play at HEX. We're intrigued to see how a chef adds veggie ferments, kombucha and our kitchen ingredients into an à la carte menu. We encourage connections between the purveyors and farmers we source from at HEX Superette.

No ticket is required for our Kitchen Takeovers, though they are first-come, first-served from 11AM - 7:30PM.
